Service for Mr. Samuel Johnson and predeceased
siblings, Mrs. Cecelia Boyd and Mr. John Bedell
The
Johnson, McWilliams, Baker, Bedell and Elliott
families regretfully announce the home-going
of Mr. Samuel Johnson after a period of illness.
This event occurred on August 12th, 2010 in
Brewerville, Liberia.
The
late Samuel Johnson was born on January 9, 1926
in Fishtown, Maryland County unto Helena Todé
Elliott- Johnson and Ban-Sie Dabe Johnson.
Samuel
leaves to mourn his loss his older brother,
Fr. Emmanuel W. Johnson (Henrietta), his youngest
brother, Mr. George McWilliams (Martina); his
sons Samuel Jr. and Emmanuel, grandchildren,
nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives
and friends.
Funeral
Service for Mr. Samuel Johnson was held in Monrovia,
Liberia on August 28, 2010 at St. Stephen's
Episcopal Church in Sinkor. Interment followed
at Paynesville Cemetery.
A Memorial Service celebrating the lives
of Mr. Samuel Johnson, Mr. John Bedell and Mrs.
Cecelia Boyd (Rev. Boyd -deceased) will be held
on November 27th at 10:00am at St. David's
Episcopal Church in Ashburn, Virginia.
