The
Johnson family announces with profound regret,
the home-going of our beloved father, grandfather,
brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, Mr. Rudolph
Korboi Johnson, Sr., commonly known as "Rudi".
This
sad event occurred in the early morning hours
on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the St. Joseph's
Catholic Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia.
He
is survived by his loving wife of twenty-eight
years, Mrs. Annie Togba-Johnson, his mother,
step father, Peter Bonner, Two children: Rudolph
K. Johnson, Jr. (Arthurine) and Henrietta R.
Johnson, Three grandchildren: Joshua Ward, Breanna
Ward, and Kathryn Johnson.
Sisters:
Yassah Johnson-Livingstone (Joseph), Danlette
James-Nyanti, Paureta Johnson-Teage, Evelyn
Johnson-Takry, and Kaisor Johnson-Brown. Brothers:
Alexander K. Johnson (Deborah), Korboi Johnson
(Cianneh), Joel E. Johnson, Henry K. Johnson,
Jr., Alfonso K. Johnson, Darlingston K. Johnson,
Dominic Ballayan, Christian Ballayan (Louise),
Beyan Franklin (Kwidia), Ballah Franklin, Gayflor
Franklin, Sumo Bonner, and Peewu Bonner; along
with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives,
and friends in the USA, Liberia, and around
the world.
His
Father, Lt. General Henry Korboi Johnson, Sr.
predeceased him.

the Catholic compound turning point)
Funeral
Service: March 6th, 10:00 am - 1:30 pm,
Saint Matthews Lutheran Church, Wood Camp, Paynesville
City. (Funeral will commence with the remains
being removed from AB Roberts Funeral Parlor
at 9:00 am)
