The Johnson and Lewis families sadly announce the untimely passing of our beloved mother; sister; grandmother; great-grandmother; great-great grandmother; aunt; cousin, and friend, Mrs. Martha Lewis-Johnson. She was affectionately known as “Ma Martha'' by her loved ones as she was mama to many people. She lived a full life as a loving and devoted mother, caring and life-saving midwife nurse, servant of her church, and a proud community member of Flehla for 47 years. She opened her heart and home to share the Word of God, food, shelter, laughter, and most importantly, love. She is deeply loved and missed by all who had the honor of meeting and knowing her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, father, and mother. Ma Martha is survived by her 6 children; 1 brother; 32 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
