Mr. CARROLL HNA JOHNSON

The Johnson, Jones and Harris-Williams families announce with profound sadness, the death of their beloved family member, Mr. Carroll Hna Johnson, affectionately called Baby Nah/Nat, in his seventy-fifth year.  This sad event occurred on October 21, 2016, at Cooper’s Clinic, Monrovia, Liberia, after a brief illness.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, Mary D. Johnson, ten children:  Caroline (Isaac) Huskins, Edith Johnson, Jardiah (Willette) Johnson, Kamah Johnson, Braidain Johnson, Ernest Johnson, Josephine (Paul) Williams, Benjamin Johnson, Madia Johnson and Patience Johnson; ten siblings:  Dr. A. E. Nyema Jones (Abeodu), Lucille Wolo, Beatrix (Victor) Helb, Dr. George (Marietta) Johnson, Oretha Tidoe, Clarisa (Fonie) Sherman, Violet Karneh, Magdalene (Aloysius) Hanson, Martin Johnson, and Valerie Johnson.  He is also survived by a host of other relatives, including:  fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Mr. Carroll H. Johnson was predeceased by his father, Mr. Gray Gyedate Johnson, mother, Ms. Caroline Harris, his maternal aunt, Ms. Edith Harris-Williams, two sons: Gray Johnson and Carroll Johnson, Jr., and four sisters:  Nora Johnson, Nannette Johnson-Travelle, Winifred Johnson and Josephine Johnson.

Wake and Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 18th and Saturday, November 19th, respectively, at Transpea Bible Church; with interment following at Mickey Gray Cemetery.
