BERNARD KONYON JOHNSON

The Bernard Konyon Johnson family announces with deep regret the death in his 82nd year of their father, brother, uncle, cousin and grand-father. This sad event occurred in Waukegan a northwestern suburb of Chicago on Monday, March 30 2015, following a prolonged illness. “BJ” (as he was affectionately known) leaves to mourn his demise a host of loved ones, including five surviving children (Wuyah, Newport, Jacob, Frances, Teetah) and other relatives and friends in Liberia, the United States and other parts of the world.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 o’clock p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Christ Episcopal Church, the parish of which Brother Bernard had been a member since taking up residence in Waukegan.
