Mr. Daniel Doe Jeh

“Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast”.

The Jeh family and Kplio Community USA announce with profound sadness and regret the passing of their dear son, father, brother, uncle and cousin, fame entrepreneur, Mr. Daniel Doe Jeh (Toe Pokar Doe). This sudden transition occurred on Monday, evening February 10, 2020 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holy, New Jersey.

Daniel D. Jeh was born on November 16, 1958 in Barclayville, Grand Kru County, Liberia unto the union of Toe Pokar and Sonpon Glannie of the Koo Jeh segment of Gbalapoh. He was raised in the United Methodist Church and obtained early education in J Glekan Dixon United Methodist Elementary and Junior High School. Subsequently, Daniel moved to Bomi Hills, Tubmanburg, Bomi County to be under the guidance of his uncle Nathaniel N. Jeh. After completing C. H. Dewey Public School in Tubmanburg, he transferred to Booker Washington Institute (B.W.I.) and earned a high school degree in industrial plumbing. Upon high school graduation, Daniel served in the Liberia National Guard for several years and got an honorable discharge. After leaving the army, he worked for the Liberia Petroleum Refining Corporation (L.P.R.C.) for several years before coming to the U.S.A. to further his education.

Daniel worked full time as a laboratory technician for Coca Cola Bottling Company while pursuing a degree in electronics at the National College of Technology in Oklahoma City. After earning his associate degree, he worked several years for Premier Computers in Oklahoma City as a process engineer. While in Oklahoma Daniel fathered a child (Derrick Jeh) by Evelyn Cassell, his ex-wife and the union was blessed with additional two sons: Michael and Tolo.

Daniel later moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he and his brother Zachariah Jeh started a small computer services firm (Desmid Computers). After a few years in business, Daniel moved with his family back home to Liberia. When the civil war broke out in his native land, he lost all investments and returned to the U.S.; settled in New Jersey and remarried to Georgia Victoria Kardor-Jeh. This union produced two amiable children: Miatta, his only daughter and Emmanuel.

DJ was a family man to his core, a loving, kind father and dedicated husband; “a strongman his lovely wife said in tears”. He also was very warm to his nieces, nephews and extended family members. A devout Methodist, Daniel was a big believer in the Christian Gospel and creed.

Daniel leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Georgia Victoria Kardor-Jeh, daughter, Miatta, sons: Michael, Emmanuel, Derrick, his granddaughters, Alayaa, Arheya and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends: Joannah K. Jeh, Zechariah Jeh, Idella Brox Hogan Jeh, John C. Jeh, Elizabeth W. Jeh, Patricia Nyenmoh-Jarpa, Cynthia Wisseh Cooper, Phillip Uky, Sam Roberts, Evon Koffa, Raymond Sepkeh (Emmanuel Toe) and members of the Kplio Association USA, Inc. May the soul of Daniel rest in peace

He was predeceased by his father, Toe Pokar, mother, Sonpon Glannie, brothers: Pokar Kanteh, Pokar Toe and sister: Pokar Gbe (Pokar Annie)
