ADOLPHUS
IVY
It
was on the early evening of Tuesday, March 9,
2010 in Durham, North Carolina, when the Ivy,
Williams, Johnson, Blackmon, Greenfield, and
Neaweah families; the East Harper Community
of Maryland County, Liberia/United States, the
Raleigh/Durham, NC Community, received the shocking
news of the sudden death of their son, husband,
father, brother, cousin, uncle and friend, Adolphus
Ivy, at the youthful age of 49. His father,
Allen R. Ivy, Sr., predeceased him.
Mourning
the painful loss of this very quiet and unassuming
man are his wife, Edna Neaweah-Ivy; mother,
Rose Williams-Ivy; children: Tendeh, Roselyn,
Rose, Ruth, Rachel, Rita, Henry, Helena, and
Randy; siblings: Annie Ivy-Woyee (Chester),
Charles, Jane, John (Karolyn), Allen (Maria),
James, Rose, Evelyn Woart (Simeon), Joseph (Madia),
Chester (Roselyn); one aunt, Cecelia Williams
of East Harper, Maryland County; many nieces
and nephews to include Catherine Woyee-Jones,
Koon Allen Woyee, Winston Cummings; many cousins
to include Leona Williams-Washington, Sophie
E. Williams, Harriett Yancy, John Ricks, Theodore
Williams, Rev. Levi Williams, Hester Williams-Catakaw,
Bea Alexander, Dr. Garfield Williams, Clarence
Williams, Boimah Wiliams; Lemuel Blackmon; the
Neaweah family of the United States and Liberia;
a host of relatives and friends in Liberia,
Australia and the United States.
