It is with heavy hearts that the Hubbard and Johnson families announce the passing of their sister, mother , grandmother, aunt and cousin on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Somerton Nursing Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Kona Nora Hubbard was dedicated, thoughtful and very quiet. She was dedicated to her family, church and her friends. Kona Nora Hubbard was predeceased by both her parents Edmund Dallas Mully Hubbard and Yatta Johnson Hubbard .
Kona Nora Hubbard is survived by her two children, Randolph N. Awadjie and Rose Tatu Awadjie, her siblings, James (Fatu), Okay, David (Rebecca), Lumah ,Maima Fatorma (Eric) and Miatha Yandi Hubbard, her aunt Comfort Johnson (her confidant), her nieces, nephews, grandchildren , great grandchildren, cousins and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia, South Africa and the United States of America.
