It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness to announce the passing of Augustus Roland Wemongah Howard. Gus, as he was commonly called, transitioned to glory on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Ohio Wexner James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by: his wife Mrs. Cynthia Ann Howard, three children Mr. Jamaal Howard, Mr. Manjah Howard, and Mrs. Sonya Howard Fountain, one son in law Rashard Fountain, Five grandchildren Kenya Howard, Gavin Howard, Payton Fountain, Camden Fountain, and Chase Fountain, Five sisters, Mrs. Rachel Freeman, Ms. Rose Johnson, Ms. Conta Howard, Mrs. Antoinette Korvah, Ms. Wilma Kpohanu, one brother Joseph Thaddus Howard Jr., Two Aunts Utopia Greenfield-Johnson and Ms. Mary Lewis, 8 nieces, 7 nephews, and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia and around the USA.
He was preceded by his father Joseph Thaddus Howard Sr. his mother Mrs. Louise Lewis- Howard, and 2 Nephews.
