It is with great sadness that we the Hill and Bettie families announce the homegoing of our beloved mother, daughter and sister, Elizabeth D. Hill, who departed this world on Tuesday June 9, 2015 at 2:21 pm at the Washington Adventist Hospital , Takoma Park, Maryland.

She was a loving, compassionate, God-fearing and devoted mother, sister and friend to everyone that knew her. She was affectionately known as mommy, cookie, Lizzie, Cousin Elizabeth, to name a few. She was an active church and choir member of New Hope International Church preceding her death.

She is survived by her children: Angel Lulu Weslyn Hill, Rosemarie Goodlin and Justice Manuel; her parents Dea. Richard D. A. Hill Sr., and mother Cecelia W. Bettie-Hill (deceased) ; Siblings Aaron Hill (Beatrice), Richard D. A. Hill, Jr. (Florida), Ruby Hill, Augusta Hill, Garfield Mason (Henrina), Gertrude Hill-Harlie (Alex), Amadu Kamara, Otis Glasco, Roslyn Hill and Richmond Hill. Her uncles James H. E. Hill, Sr. John Bettie, and John Q. Hill (deceased); Aunts Victoria Bettie- Sanyeneh and Rhoda Bettie; Her godmother Mrs. Amelia Mason and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, close friends and church family.

As we mourn her death, we give thanks to the Almighty God for her life and celebrate her homegoing. May her soul rest in God's perfect peace.
