George Paul Harris I

Earthly Beginning: January 1, 1947
Earthly Departure: November 24, 2020

It is with profound sadness that the Harris, Kroma, Butscher, Dundas, Robert families regret to announce the departure of George Paul Harris I, (GPH), a retired member of staff for the Episcopal Diocese of the Republic of Liberia. This sad event occurred at the home of his son, Samuel Flashew on November 24, 2020, in Liberia. GPH as He was fondly called, was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.

GPH was predeceased by his parents, the Honorable Abraham B. Kroma, Sr. and Mrs. Nancy Butscher Kroma; brothers: Daniel T., and Emmanuel F.; his sister: Loreen J. Kroma-Goba. He is survived by his daughter Georgette P. Harris; his sons: Samuel Flashew (Hawa), Emmanuel Harris, George Harris, II (Caira); his siblings: Melvina Hodge, Abraham Kroma, Jr. (Christine), Fatu Darpolor, Audrey Kroma, A. Edward Kroma (Faith), Victoria Kroma; his grandchildren: Telvin Harris, Isiah Siaka Harris, Eugene Flashew, Emmanuel Flashew, Arham Flashew; his uncle: Dr. Samuel Obediah Butscher (Joane); and a host of family members and friends.

GPH as he is superbly referred to has completed his voyage upon earth., and is profoundly missed. May his soul and the souls of all departed rest in perfect peace.

REMOVAL OF THE REMAINS:

On Thursday, January 7, 2021, at 5:00 pm from Stryker Funeral Home to Trinity Episcopal Cathedral on Broad Street.

Wake Keeping will begin at 6 PM to 9 PM GMT. All tributes are to be done at this time limited to 3 minutes. Tributes from the Episcopal Youth and Diocese and Family Tributes will be read at the funeral.

FUNERAL SERVICE:

On Friday January 8, 2021 at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral on Broad Street Beginning at 10 AM

INTERMENT:? Is to follow immediately after funeral service
WHO GUIDELINES WILL BE FOLLOW IN REGARDS TO COVID-19
