Mrs.
Elizabeth Massaquoi - Harris
BROKEN
CHAINS
We little knew that morning that God was going
to call your name. In life we loved you dearly.
In death we do the same. It broke our hearts
to lose you; you did not go alone; for part
of us went with you, the day God called you
home. You left us peaceful memories, your love
is still our guide, and though we cannot see
you, you are always at our side. Our family
chain is broken and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one, the chain will
link again.
The Massaquoi, Harris, George and Dixon families
announce with deep regrets the home-going of
our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,
sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Elizabeth Massaquoi-
Harris, affectionately called "Mommie-Liz".
This sad event occurred Sunday, December 19,
2010 at 9:15 Am in Woodbridge, Virginia, with
her dear and loving children, Sister In-law
Catherine Harris Dunbar, her Niece-Mrs. Yvonne
Tobgah, and her Nephew Rev. Hilary Stryker at
her bedside.
She
is survived by her Children: Edwin Harris Jr.,
James Harris, Siweh Harris, (Luvena), Nostelda
Harris, Gloria Harris-Coffield (Rudolph), Dolly
Harris, Teloid Harris-Scott (JS), Harriette
Harris (Bruce), Gudrun Harris, Edwina Harris,
T-bone Harris, Joyce Harris, Marion Harris-Blount
(Calvin) and Rita Harris; foster children, Marie
Dolo and Peter Kollie.
Her siblings Jayah and Albert Massaquoi, (Arthur
and Jimah Massaquoi predeceased her), Her aunt,
Fasia Massaquoi and uncle Fritz Massaquoi,
We thank God for giving us Mommie Liz and for
