Nolo Hammonds
The
Hammonds and Dunbar family regrets to announce
the untimely passing of their beloved wife,mother,
sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin and best friend
Emily Nolo Hammonds.Emily's home going was August
29th 2009 at Christiana Hospital in Newark,
Delaware while surrounded by friends and family.
Emily is the daughter of George Augustus Dunbar
and Nowah Turnga-Dunbar. Emily was preceded
in death by her father George Augustus Dunbar
who lived at Dunbar Farm in Palala, Central
Province, now Bong County.
She
is survived by her husband David Lee Hammond
Jr. of East Orange N.J., Daughters: Henriette,
Blanca and Amayo. Sons: Tapee and David Grandchildren:
Michael,Kobe, Jordan, Kojo, Iziah,Otivia and
De'aysah. Emily has fifty (50) brothers and
sisters: Ethel, Fulton, Edwin, Mary, Sarah,
Anna, Tryphena, Fanny, Sophie, Charles, Francis,
Martin, Samuel, Euphemia, Williette, Thelma,
Aletha, Barnelia, Ellen, Ernest, Franklin, Mamadee,
Joyce, Julia, Esther, Albertine, Inez, Jackie,
Kim, Dudley, Maude, Myrl, Winifred, Margaret,
Mabel, Amy, Clarence, Daniel, Jonathan, Henry,
Roland, Monroe, Sekou, Ulysses, Willis, Winston,
Cecelia, Danlette, Kedrick, Christina, Meita,
and Derrick; and scores of nephews and nieces,
cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, and a
host of other relatives and friends in Liberia,
the United States and other countries.
