Satta Tamba-Hall
The Family of the late Satta Tamba-Hall is deeply saddened by her sudden death which occurred on Saturday, July 4th at her residence in Pennsylvania, USA.
Funeral of the deceased will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020. The body will be removed from the Exodus Funeral Home at 8 am and the service will take place at The Cornwell UMC, 2884 Bristol Park. Bensalem, PA 19020 at 10:00 AM. Interment follows at St. Mark Cemetery, Bristol, PA. USA.
The late Satta Tamba-Hall was the daughter of Mrs. Siah Annie Tamba (alive) and the late Chief Boika Tamba.
She attended the Presbyterian Todee Mission School (H,S Diploma), The CWA junior College (AA Degree) and the University of Liberia where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration. Professionally, Mrs. Hall has held decent jobs in Liberia and the USA. She was member of the Presbyterian Church in Monrovia and while in the USA, she worshipped with the Cornwell UMC church in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
On her birthday April 17, 2010, Satta encountered a deadly armed robbery incident along with her adopted son Sackie Yanquoi at her home in Monrovia, Liberia where she lived at the time. She and her son Sackie were so severely burned with acid; little did they know that their journey to recovery would require several surgeries and travels. While in the USA, Satta married her best friend Otis Frank Hall. Satta became his world and a sister to all of his sibblings. She was an exceptional mother to their kids and they enjoyed a near perfect marriage until her death.
Sadly, after all of the trauma they encountered, the story doesn’t end well; Sackie who had all of the educational support and was well on his way to becoming a Medical Doctor, pre-deceased his adopted mom (Satta). He died just before his graduation in 2018, his mother received his cap and gown. Again, On the sad morning of July 4, 2020, with no prior warning, Satta completed her earthly journey sending shock-waves to her Husband, Mother, children and loved ones.
Mrs. Hall won the hearts of many, she would give her last to make others happy, Satta was family. She leaves to mourn her loss, Her Husband, Otis Frank Hall, her Mom Mrs. Siah Annie Tamba of Duport Road, Liberia, her Biological son Spencer McMillian, her daughter-in-law Chanthary Ouk Mcmillan, one granddaughter ( Scarlet), her loved-stepdaughters Quita and Jumanne Hall, several sisters, brothers including: Bendu Alice Tamba, Nessie Ngumbu, Taiwa Tamba-Allison, Saba Tamba, her in-laws and a host of relatives and friends of Liberia, Sierra Leone and the USA.
