Rev. Gueh served in the Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in Atlanta, GA USA for over five years as pastor in that conference. He later moved back to Monrovia to serve in the Liberian Annual Conference as Lay and Pastorial trainer under the bishopship of Rev. Dr. John G. Innis until his passing. He was well known and respected in the Liberian Conference serving and training ministers in their roles as pastors in the various districts. For many years Rev. Gueh traveled annually to the United States as conference representative to the General Board of Global Ministry in New York.
Solomon loved his family and friends. He initiated the Gueh Family Reunion in the United States and brought together many family members living in different parts of the United States and served as its first president.
Solomon leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 27 years, Mrs Masa Gueh, six children, Solomon Gueh, Jr., Musu Gueh, Ellen Gueh, Johnette Gueh, Amavetta Gueh, Angela Gueh and Isaac Gueh, three brothers, Rev. Dr. Danial G. Gueh (Musu), J. Dekpah Gueh (Joycelyn) and Timothy Gueh. Also two sisters, Nancy Dahn and Wheeja Gueh and many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Saturday, Januay 21, 2017 at same church
Interment: Pastor Gueh Town/RockCrusher, Kokoyah
Rev. 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away.
