It
is with deepest sorrow that the Greene Family
announces the death of Jacob Samuel Greene Jr.,
affectionately called "JS". This sad
event occurred at his home in Brooklyn, New
York on Sunday, October 4th, 2009.
JS
is survived by his devoted wife, Mary L. Greene;
his loving children -Shirley Greene-Jallah,
Naomi “Girl Greene” Greene-Clarke,
Ruth Greene, Jerel Greene, Antoinette Greene-Smith,
Eward Greene, Rudene Greene, Samantha E. Greene;
17 Grand Children; his siblings -Joan Greene,
Cerue Greene-Williams, Dashward Greene, Myrtle-Rose
Greene, Mary Barrolle-Luke, Clarence Brown,
Massa Greene-McKenzie, Olga Barrolle; Rosevelt
Dwah; Nieces -Mildred Theresa Greene , Kim Greene,
May-Yvonne Greene, Tanya Williams, Dashlene
Bull, Chaunee Padmore, Myrtle-Rose Padmore;
nephews -‘Bode O. Rhodes, Philippe K. Doh,
Edward Blyden, Emmett Blyden, Sean Williams;
cousins, Gloria Cooper and Louise Cooper-Bailey
and a host of other relatives in Liberia and
the USA.

was predeceased by his parents, Jacob Samuel
Greene Sr. and Mildred Fritz-Greene; siblings,
Samuel D. Greene Sr., Edith Weeks and
Antoinette Greene-Rhodes
