The Brooks, Monger, Morris, and Sawyer families announce with deepest regret, the sudden home-going of Rose Beatrix Monger Gray, our beloved and exceptional mother, grand-mother, aunt, and cousin in her 81st year. This sad event took place at her residence in Trinity, North Carolina. She is survived by her children Russell DeShield (Famatta), Jimmy Brooks (Rosetta), and Nora Munford (Fred), and her grandchildren Romelda, Keesha, Gleneda, Michael, Kristen, Jimmette, Jimmy Jr, Anders, Russell, and Freneka. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends in the United States and Liberia.
She was predeceased by her parents Amos Monger and Rachael C. Brooks. Her husband Leonard Gray and her son Michael DeShield also predeceased her.
