With profound sorrow, the Law Offices of Sherman & Sherman announces the death of Seymour Grann, a British citizen, who came to and resided in Liberia approximately fifty (50) years ago. Seymour Grann died at the ELWA Hospital in Paynesville, Montserrado County, Liberia on November 13, 2020, after a protracted period of illness.
Seymour Gran was an entrepreneur, who successfully managed many enterprises in Liberia prior to his death. For many years he was the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Reelin Liberia Inc., the distributor of Toyota vehicles in Liberia, until that company was bought by CICA Motors Limited. Seymour then moved to Africa Motors, the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles, as its Managing Director -- a position he held until his demise.
Funeral services for the late Seymour Grann shall be held at the Stryker Funeral Services, Tubman Boulevard, Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia, on Friday, November 20, 2020, at 11:00 ante meridian. Immediately thereafter, internment shall take place at the Kaiser Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Brewersville (near Ricks Institute) Montserrado County, Liberia.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, floral designs shall not be allowed. However, as Seymour Grann was a devout golf player and in keeping with his wishes for the establishment of a Seymour Grann Golf Tournament, financial contributions shall be accepted by Sherman & Sherman for this purpose. Contributions should be made to Sherman & Sherman at the R.
