 Mr. Daniel Mulbah Gougou Sr.
With profound sadness, the Gougou family regrets to announce the death of Mr. Daniel Mulbah Gougou which occurred on May 27, 2020 at the ELWA Hospital after protracted illness. He leaves to mourn his wife, Mrs. Hannah Cochee Wesee Gougou, several children, grand children, nieces, nephews, great grand nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters of Liberia and the USA, namely; Mrs Mabel Daniel-Brandy, Mrs. Peggy Crusoe-Morgan, Nopoe Sumo-Dokie, Gougou Michael Daniel Sr, Lamine F.Daniel, Joe Y. Gono and Rionel Matthew Crusoe. And predeceased; Mr. Flomo Daniel(Father), Ma Zinnah(mother), John K. Crusoe(Step father), F. Shadrach Daniel(brother), Sam A. Daniel(brother), and Zoe Gougou(daughter).
Mr. Daniel Mulbah Gougou Sr. attended Ora Gene Elementary school, Lango Lipay, graduated from St. Augustine Episcopal High School, Kakata Rural Teacher’s Training Institute(KRTTI) in Kakata, Margibi County. His ambition for higher and quality education, Mr. Gougou Sr. matriculated at the Cuttington University College in Bong County where he attained Bsc with distinct honor in Economics. He worked at Liberia Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI) as Vice President for Treasury, Ministry of Finance as Deputy Comptroller General for cash management, Central Bank of Liberia, as Assisting Manager for Domestic Banking, Agriculture Cooperative Development Bank (ACDB), worked with the United Nation Educational Program, Improved Efficiency for Learning (IEL); just to name a few.
Silent Wake Keeping will be held on 12th of June, Friday 2020 at his house on Duport Road, Paynesville.
Funeral Service and Burial of Mr. D. Mulbah Gougou Sr. will be held on 10am Saturday, June 13th 2020 at the A. B. Anderson Funeral parlor on Lunch Street
Interment will take place in Vahnyeamah Town on Bong Mines Road, Margibi County.
