Pastor Larrydean Salome Wright Goodridge
The Goodridge, Wright, McGill, and Gibson family regret to announce the transition of their beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, Pastor Larrydean Salome Wright Goodridge. She went to rest with the Lord on Monday, June 1, 2020 in Robbinsdale, MN, USA.
Pastor Larrydean leaves behind her husband, Nathaniel Goodridge; five children Natlyn Peaches Goodridge, Ashley Goodridge, Ned Goodridge, Jerry Nelson, Tarlee Mentee, Papi Wright; and father Major Clement Wright. She is also survived by her sisters Louise Wright Davis, Tonia Wright, Mai Wright, Alfreda McGill, Kayma Wright; brothers, Darlingston Wright, Peegee Wright, Presley Henson, Orea Wright, John Wright, Nuku Wright ; grandchildren Jeriphine Nelson, Jeridean Nelson, Jerry Nelson Jr, Jeremy Nelson, Laz Areh, Cherish Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her mother Jemima (McGill) Wright.
Pastor Larrydean was born October 18, 1974 in Monrovia, Liberia where completed primary and secondary school. She later immigrated to the United States in 2000 due to the second Liberian Civil War. She and her family established themselves in Brooklyn Park, MN where she worked at North Memorial Medical Center as a Phlebotomist and EKG technician.
Pastor Larrydean was an active and dedicated member of Faith Embassy Church in Robbinsdale, MN where she was ordained as a pastor.
Pastor Larrydean was faithful to her calling, her church community and her family. She modeled her love for others through her kind words of encouragement, spirit filled prayers for community members in need and her loving devotion to her family.
To encourage and support her faith community and to share the love of God Pastor Larrydean created the Light Full House Gospel Prayer Ministry where each morning she and other ministers prayed together and encouraged participants. She was known for sending family and friends text messages with motivational Bible verses as well as invitations to join the prayer line.
Pastor Larrydean deeply loved her children. She also loved extended visits with her grandchildren and cherished opportunities to love and support them.
Pastor Larrydean was a loving and feisty spirit and will be missed.
