Wilmot Debrick Gibson, Commonly known as "Joe Blow"
It is with deepest sorrow that the Gibson family announces the passing of Wilmot Debrick Gibson, Sr. Gibson was born on July 1st, 1947 in Monrovia, Liberia, unto the union of Samuel Gibson and Adeline Stubblefield. He died on August 21st, 2016 at the Staten Island Hospital in New York, United States.
He was a Chemist, Benjamin Moore & Co, and Film Projectionist with a passion for Music and Film preservation. A wise man of thoughtful words and lasting humor. Gentle at heart, he leaves behind a legacy we will never forget or be able to replace.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of forty five (45) years, Mrs. Henrietta Crusoe-Gibson, his children: Debbie Gibson, Tenneh Gibson, Debrick Gibson jr., Angeline Gibson, Devin Gibson, his grandchildren: Henrietta Gibson, Vanessa Valentine, Regis Valentine, Devin Gibson Jr., brothers and sisters: Mrs. Martha Rogers, Mr. Reginald Gibson, Mrs. Angeline Louise Gibson-Sonpon, Ms. Beatrice Barclay, Mr. Lander Gibson, Lucinda Gibson, Tonia Gibson and surviving relatives: The Greaves, In Laws: The Sonpons, and a host of other relatives residing in Liberia and America.
