The family of Robert Hemie Gibson III announces his home-going on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at 11:18 p.m. in Memphis, Tennessee.

Robert was a graduate of St. Patrick High School in Monrovia, Liberia and the
University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Among his diverse career accomplishments, he was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Universe Travel & International Business Consultation, Incorporated.
He was preceded in death by his parents General Robert H. Gibson II and Dinah Ash, son Jerry Gibson, brother Robert H. Gibson IV (Robbie), brother Samuel Luke, and sister Annie Luke. Left to honor his memory are his loving wife, Colleen, step-mother, Bettye Gibson, daughters Ladie Yetta and Fanta (James), grand-daughters Asami and Reina, sisters Frances (James) Crowther and Dolly (McDonald) Anderson, brothers George (Baindu) Fully, Prince (Clarice) Fully, Anthony Luke, Reginald Gibson, John Gibson, Mark Gibson, Robert Christopher Gibson, two aunts, Jude Luvenia Ash-Thompson, of Liberia and Mrs. Angeline Darwin (Phillip) of Colorado, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones in Liberia and United States.
