The Gibson, George, and Summons families announce the peaceful homegoing of their mother, grandmother, cousin, and aunt, Mrs. Jestina Summons Gibson, affectionally known as “Mama Jessie”. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 3:00 AM, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memories her children Cecilia Kparghai, Clarise Tolbert (Briggford), Josephine Knuckles, Jestina Gray (Yudu), Othello Gibson, Ophelia Cohen, Edward Gibson, and Marie Maddy (Bismark), thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren, several cousins and her long-time buddy, Mrs. Phoebe Uso.
