Our mother (Mary George), grandmother and great grandmother, affectionately called Ma Mary, was laid to rest on December 19, 2020.
Ma Mary was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone to her parents Mr. Koffa Gray and Mrs. Nyontee Forkay Gray who predeceased her. She moved to Liberia and settled in Monrovia with her Uncle Mr. Swen Tarpeh who also is deceased. She graduated from the Monrovia College Industrial Training Institute. She later married her childhood sweetheart Mr. Samuel S. George (who predeceased her) and they were blessed with 3 wonderful children. She was a devoted Chritian and member of Georgia Pattern United Methodist Church in Liberia. Our mother was the back bone in the family. loving, caring, and gave us the right advices. Ma Mary Loves her grand and great grand kids. She will surely be missed, especially that beautiful smile when she wanted the best out of us.
Ma Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories her children; Christian B.George, Florence J. George of USA, Teah George of Liberia, her grand children, great grandchildren, and her only surviving brother Mr. Christopher S. Gray of the USA. Not to forget all her In-laws including a host of other relatives.
A sincere thank you to all for the financial and non financial contributions towards our mother burial, We are forever grateful.
