It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the home going of  our loving mother, Ida Karpehdea Sinue Gbye of Austell, Georgia,  in her 81st year.  This event occurred on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.  Mrs. Gbye was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Flomo Gbye; two daughters, Beatrice Gbye Lamadine and Frederica Gbye Tubman; two grandchildren, Yampu Gbye and Marquezeyon Gbye; and one brother, Cain Sinue.  She is survived by three daughters, Anna Gbye Coudreau, Mae-Mae Gbye Diggs (Jerome), and Florence Gbye Odushola (Kenny); two sons, Frederick Fuhnnie Gbye, Jr. and Diogba Eric Gbye (Shellie); two foster children, James Kollie and Comfort Suah; two brothers, Hixenbaugh Sinue and Milton Sinue; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives in the U.S. and abroad.
