Gbatu family regrets to announce the home going
of Clarence Nya Gbatu on Thursday, January 27,
2011.
"Clarko"
as he was affectionately known, died of complications
from brain tumor at the Banner Good Samaritan
Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. He leaves to
mourn his loss daughters Bernice "Teta"
(22 yrs old) and Alfreda "Irene" (18
yrs old), his Fiancée Rebecca Greene
of Phoenix, AZ, his mother Sarah Kau Gbatu of
Minneapolis, MN, many siblings including Thompson,
Allen, Nancy, Yah Louise, Rebecca, Beatrice
and a large extended family in the United States
and Liberia.

will be laid to rest at the Mound Cemetery
