MRS. MABEL AQUILA FLAHN GBAKOYAH

It is with deep sadness that the Gbakoyah, Flahn, and Boohn families announce the homegoing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrand mother, great-great grandmother, sister, and aunt Mrs. Mabel Aquila Flahn Gbakoyah. This sad event occurred on Sunday December 1st, 2019 at the St. Joseph Catholic Hospital, Monrovia, Liberia.
Mama, Grandma, Ma Mabel, M.A.F.G, as she was affectionally called is survived by her husband Mr. John M. Gbakoyah, her children George Flahn (Alma), Moses Gbakoyah (Mama), Jemima Johnson, Martha Moore (Augustine), Henrietta Nanee Davis (John), Teta (BM), Catherine, Wilbur Papa Gbakoyah (Fatu), Wilhelmina Cho-Cho Paygar (Andrew), Judy Tantu Ricks (John), Joyce Marbloe (Samuel), Julia, Sarah, and Freddie (Patricia); her sister Maryoupleh Flahn, brothers Eddie Flahn Sr. and Gardeah Flahn; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, many other children she raised, and a host of relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her daughters Mrs. Beatrice A. Washington and Leona Kamara; her parents and host of brothers and sisters.
