 Morrie Wokie Gardiner
It is with deep sadness that we, the Gardiner, Cooper, and Hutchins families announce the home going of our beloved daughter, sister, niece, aunt, sister-in-law, and cousin, Morrie Wokie Gardiner of Silver Spring, Maryland, USA. This sad event occurred at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney, Maryland on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
Morrie was affectionately known as Bay Morrie, Beautiful, Woke, and her favorite - Mommy Shune. She is survived by her mother, Lucinda I. Barbara Gardiner, siblings: Danielette Gardiner Kiadii, Murv L. Gardiner & Alam, Annie M. Gardiner, Theodora M. Gardiner & David, Ciata L. Gardiner (Bay Lu), Harrington S. Gardiner & Pauline, and Richlieu K. Gardiner & Davidetta, one aunt, Anne Cooper Marquis, several nieces & nephews, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends residing in the United States and Liberia.
Morrie was pre-deceased by her loving father, Theodore M. Gardiner, Sr. and siblings, Lottie Gardiner Harmon, Tilmon M. Gardiner, Sr., Francis R. Gardiner, Theodore (Klade Borbor) Dara Gardiner, and Henry Boima Gardiner. She will be greatly missed as we give thanks to God for her life and celebrate her home going.
