It is with great sadness that we the Gadegbeku, Jones, D’Almeida, Itoka and Ajavon family announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin and Best Friend Henri Kodjo Gadegbeku. Henri is the youngest child of Gabriel and Christiana Gadegbeku. Henri returned to his heavenly home on September 26, 2019 at Summit Ridge Assisted Living in West Orange, New Jersey. He was predeceased by his Gabriel Gadegbeku, Christiana Gadegbeku, Polycarp Gadegbeku, Philip Gadegbeku (Veronica), Gedeon Gadegbeku, Alice Gadegbeku-Ireland, Rose Gabriel Gadegbeku), Rose Gadegbeku-Weller.
He is survived by his wife Doris Jones-Gadegbeku of East Orange, N.J., Daughter: Henriette Gadegbeku-Morris, Sons: Henry A. Gadegbeku (Musu) and Christopher Gadegbeku (Roseline). Siblings: Florence Gadegbeku Skinner, Felicia Gadegbeku, Christopher Gadegbeku (Barbara), Sister Esperanza, Theodora Gadegbeku. Grandchildren: Michael, Kobe, Jordan, Emily, Kojo, Iziah, Otivia Jabin, Benjamin, Chrissi, Abigail and Grace. Sister-in-law Dorothy and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends in Liberia, Togo, Ghana, Europe, the United States and other countries.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
