 MELVIN BENJAMIN FREEMAN
February 12, 1954 – December 3, 2020
The Freeman, Fahnbulleh, Kamara, Mansaray, Fdugu, Dopoe , Seasie, and Makor families with heavy hearts regret the sudden passing of their son, brother, cousin, husband, father, grandfather and friend Mr. Melvin Benjamin Freeman (aka Melzo, Melvino, Vino).
This sad event occurred on Thursday December 3rd 2020. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at their home in New Castle, DE (USA). Melvin leaves behind his wife of 46 years Mrs. Zoyah Dopoe Freeman (aka Mrs. Edith Freeman).
His children Ms. Judith Antee Freeman (Toklan), Mrs. Jande Freeman-Brewer (Sewell), Ms. Magdalene Tonia Freeman, Mrs. Betty Cargo (Robert), Beah Oldpa Cargo (Oretha), Mrs. Laurie Davis (Jay), Mr. Peter Paye Jr., Mrs. Vivian Morris Toby (Smith), Mr. George Koukou, adoptive children Mr. Joseph Okyne (Ruth), Mr. Spangler Menjae, Mr. Cyrus Hinneh, Mr. Junior Fahnbulleh, Ms. Maretha Green and many more. His siblings Cecelia, Kadi, Saidu, Abu, Muna, Elizabeth, host of relatives in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Europe, US and around the world. Grandchildren Jannell Wonder, Janae Elizabeth, Ernest, Francis, Robert, Delvin, Denzel, Betty, Leon, Isaiah, Joshua, Joseph, Samaria, George, Carlton, Chandler, Connor, and Cotee.
Viewing and Wake: Thursday December 17, 2020 at the Talbert Funeral 2534 N. 22nd Street Philadelphia, PA 19132 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. There will be rotation for the viewing however, only 20 people will be allowed to be seated for the wake due to COVID restrictions.

Funeral Service: Friday December 18, 2020 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church 12 Winder Road. New Castle, DE 19720 at 10:30 a.m.
Funeral colors are blue and gray. Due to COVID only 80 people will be allowed in the church.
