Mr. Lee Giah Freeman, Sr.

The Freeman, Thompson, Lewis, Chea, Mydeh and Flor families announce with profound sadness the home going of our dear husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Mr. Lee Giah Freeman, Sr. This sad event occurred on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 4:00 A.M at the Firestone Hospital in Firestone, Liberia. He was in his 70th year.
He worked for the LAMCO Fire/Safety Department for over 25 years. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife of over 46 years, Mrs. Martha Thompson-Freeman, his sisters Ms. Mary Flor and Ms. Cecelia Chea, his brothers Amos, John, and Barclay, Henry Philip Mydeh his brother (predeceased him), his children Marie Freeman-Doe (GS), Lee Freeman Jr. (Trish), Ellen Freeman, Rebecca, Love, Emmanuel in Liberia, Emmanuel in Ghana, Sarah, Mary, Pankydyu, Cecelia, and Moses, several grand children, great-grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia, Ghana, Canada and the USA. “Papa” was a devoted husband, father and friend and will be dearly missed.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Buchanan, Liberia, Grand Bassa County.
