Mr. George Burgess Findley Jr.

The Findley, Phillips, and associated families regret to announce the death of Mr. George Burgess Findley Jr...   This sad event occurred on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Grady Memorial Hospital, in Atlanta, Georgia. 

To mourn his loss, he leaves behind his daughter Joy Findley- Rivers, One grandson Howard Anthony Rivers, II, his   sisters:  Thelma E Duncan- Sawyer (Amos), Precious C. Mills-Whitfield, Josephine A. Mills- Birch (Dwight), Sandra Mills-Bynum, and Marian Mills- Douglas (Samuel)  Mai Stevens,  Brothers:  Stanley Yorkpowol, Austin Lloyd. several nieces, nephews , cousins among  others  are:  Israel Findley (Eugenia ), James Davies, Roland Obedekah,   Winifred Lewis- Jones, Earner Lewis, Tyson Lewis , Marcia Monger,  and  Vashti  Lewis - Kekula, (Gyah)   his  trusted friend/ brother  Richard  Pope (Vera)  and a host of relatives and friends.

The late George Burgess Findley was predeceased by his parents Mr. George B. Findley, Sr.; and Mrs.  Perenetter T. Philips Findley-Mills; one sister, Leah E. V. Findley-Morris

Wake keeping and Funeral service will take place at the International Christian Fellowship Church,  3076 Humphries Drive SE Atlanta Ga, 30354.
