Joanna Massah Fahnbulleh

The Fahnbulleh-Freeman, Massaquoi, and Gibson families regret to announce the home-going of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and relative; Joanna Massah Fahnbulleh, commonly called “Jo” or affectionately; J-Mass, by her grandchildren.

Her sudden death occurred on the early morning of Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland.  Jo was born in Monrovia, Liberia to Mr. Edwin Owens (EO) Fahnbulleh and Ms. Justina Gibson; both of them predeceased her. Certainly, Jo lived life to the fullest and was a blessing to many of her relatives and friends. She enjoyed listening to classical music and reading the Word of God. She will be greatly missed but her love will keep burning in our hearts.
