With sadness, the members of the Elliott and Forte families of the USA and Liberia announce the home going of their beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, Samuel Darbe Elliott Sr. who passed away on October 22, 2020, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia , USA.
Boy SD is survived by his son: Fretus Elliott, grandchildren Adolphus B Elliott, Melvina Elliott Sankolo, and Marolyne N Elliott.

Several nieces, nephews: Emma Elliott Stephen, Agnes Elliott Taylor, Ernest D Seton, Ernestine Seton, Mariam Mooney, Bendu Moore, Ciatta Moore, Kadi Massaquoi, Hawa Daisy Moore, Gloria Kaizea, Beatrice Perry, Leon Banks, T Edward Andrew; grand/ great grand nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Boy SD was raised in Buchanan and Fortsville, Grand Bassa, Liberia by his now deceased parents, Thomas Elliott and Cecelia Forte Elliott. His sibling; Jeremiah Elliott, Viala Elliott Monger Adelaide Elliott Seton, Roosevelt Elliott and son Thomas Marvelous Elliott.

Boy SD was a charismatic, caring and loving individual who kept his family and friends laughing with the humorous jokes and anecdotes he constantly shared. Even though his passing is tinged with pain and sorrow, we can celebrate Boy SD’s life, gratefully acknowledging the warmth and benevolence he shared with us and those who knew him. We know he now rests with his parents, brother and other family members who have predeceased him. May his soul rest in peace with the love and joy of the everlasting, heavenly Father.
