Mrs. Ethel Sando Brown-Duwoe

The Duwoe and Brown families regret to announce the home-going of their Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother; Mrs. Ethel Sando Brown-Duwoe commonly called "Mother Dear".

This sad event occurred on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the St. Joseph Catholic Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia after a brief illness.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Mr. Charles V.K. Brown I and Mrs. Bendu Gbelly Brown; her husband, Mr. Joseph J. Duwoe Sr.; her brothers, Mr. Moses Brown, Mr. Oliver Kpahn, Mr. Terry Brown and Mr. Benjamin Brown; her daughters, Jartu Duwoe and Kolina Duwoe.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her children, Rev. Konnah V. Brown, Althea H. Askie, Joseph J. Duwoe Jr., Nenneh Askie, Bendu Duwoe, Jenneh Duwoe-Askie, Famatta Duwoe, Miatta Duwoe-Williams, Raphael Seh Duwoe and Mymah Duwoe; her sisters, Zoe J. Brown and Mymah S. Brown; her brothers Charles V. K. Tubman, Theodore V. K. Brown, Charles V. Brown and Charles V. K. Brown; grand children, great-grand children, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives in Liberia, the USA and Canada.
