Solomon K. Duncan, Sr.
The
Duncan, Boayue, Sehkehpoh, Jackson, Saad and
Bility Families regret to announce the death
of their father, Mr. Solomon K. Duncan, Sr.
This
sad event occurred on Monday, January 25, 2010
at about 7:00 pm at his Warren Street residence
in Monrovia, Liberia.
Father Duncan was 76 years of age. A devout
Christian layman and outstanding citizen, Duncan
will be missed by his family and
many friends. Indeed, Liberia has lost a great
citizen. May his Father Solomon K. Duncan Sr.
soul rest in eternal peace.
This
announcement goes out to all family members
at home and abroad. He leaves to cherish his
memory, his devoted and loving wife, Mrs. Cecelia
J. Duncan; his children, Beatrice Duncan, Solomon
K. Duncan Jr., Elizabeth Duncan Boayue, Theresa
Davis, Elizabeth Duncan Gayflor, Peter K. Duncan,
Charles T. Duncan, Joseph W. Duncan, Cecelia
Duncan, Anthony Duncan, Morris Duncan, Tutu
Duncan, Charlotte W. Duncan, Johnny G. Duncan,
Victor Sackie Duncan and Fred Wiles; many Grand
Children, several Great Grand Children, two
brothers, six sisters, several uncles, aunts,
nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other
relatives.
Funeral
arrangement is as follows:
Friday,
February 12, 2010: Body taken from Samuel A.
Stryker Funeral Home, Tubman Blvd. Sinkor, at
5:00pm to A. P. Camphor United Methodist Church,
Clara Town for Wake-Keeping (6:00 - 9pm).
Saturday,
February 13: Funeral @ 10:30am; A. P. Camphor
Memorial United Methodist Church, Clara Town,
Monrovia, Liberia.
Saturday,
February 13, 2010: Interment at the Palm
Grove Cemetery, Center Street, Monrovia
(immediately following conclusion of the funeral
service).
