The Dunbar family, once again, with heavy hearts announce the home going of Edwin James Dunbar Sr. This sad event occurred on Tuesday may 8th in Dallas, Texas after a long illness;

He was preceded in death by his father, George Augustus Dunbar, mother Gbolomein Dunbar( Big Tete), wife Elaine Dunbar, and a host of brothers, and sisters.

He leaves to mourn 9 children: Aletha Korto Dunbar Hoff, Dr Winnifred J Dunbar, Millie E. Dunbar, Edwin Dunbar Jr, Judge Scheaplor Dunbar, Pastor Calvin Dunbar, Abraham Lincoln Dunbar, Irving Augustus L Dunbar, and a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, grand, and great grand children.
