The Donaldson, Hall and Toliver Families regretfully
announce the passing of Mrs. Hannah Hall Donaldson.
Unexpectedly but peacefully, Hannah slipped
away from us on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at
her home in Queens Village, NY at 6:00 p.m.
Hannah joins her husband and best friend of
48 years, Robert Donaldson; her Mother Joetta
Toliver Hall, her Father Macon S. Hall Sr.,
her Siblings -Macon S. Hall Jr., Joetta Hall
Greaves and Ella Hall - all of who predeceased
her.
She will be greatly missed by her Daughter Gina
Evelyn Donaldson and Sons Clarence Morgan (Harriet),
Leroy Hall-Donaldson, Robert Donaldson Jr.,
Grand-children, Malachi Myers, Macon James Gardner-Hall,
Ken Gardner-Hall, Edwina Morgan, Clarence Morgan
Jr., Dionna Evelyn Rogers and Christian Emmanuel
Rogers; Great-Grandson, Cassius Gardner and
her only Sister Anna Hall.
Hannah was admired for her devotion to her Family
and her classic and elegant beauty -both inside
and out. Prior to their deaths, she and "Bob"
(as she affectionately called her Husband) freely
opened up their home and provided guidance and
direction to the many Nephews and Nieces who
passed through their doors - some of whom are:
Clora Johnson, McKinley Johnson (Georgette),
Lafayetta Harmon (deceased), Marcia Greaves-Shaw,
Wilma and Ethan Greaves (deceased); Jarsea Burphy
and Silda Richards-Knowlden (Winston).
The
Wake and Funeral will
be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at:
Rush Temple AME Zion Church
119-48 Sutphin Blvd
Jamaica, NY 11434
Wake/Reflections:
9am - 10am (per Hannah's request - closed
casket, no viewing)
Funeral
Service: 10am
Burial:
Immediately after the service at Pinelawn Memorial
Park in Farmingdale, NY.
Repast:
Rush Temple AME Zion Church in the Church Hall
following the burial.
