Dr. Emmanuel T. Dolo

It is with profound regret and deep sorrow that the Dolo, Hamilton and Mollie families announce the death of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin, Emmanuel T. Dolo. He transitioned, peacefully, from labor to rest on Friday, December 7, 2018, in Snellville, Georgia. Emmanuel was driven, passionate, smart and engaging, a scholar with a beautiful mind and an insatiable thirst for knowledge. He enjoyed research, writing and intellectual exchanges. He was a patriot who loved his country, always optimistic about the future and a husband and father who sacrificed immensely for his family, even during his illness. He inspired and mentored many and was loved, admired and respected by his family and peers alike.

Emmanuel’s demise is an irreparable loss and our hearts are sorely broken. His departure has left an unfillable void, but we are consoled by his memories and the assurance that he is resting with the Lord. He will be greatly missed.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his devoted wife, Aba Hamilton-Dolo; Children: Phillip and Bijoux; Brothers: Arthur Kodea, Arthur Nessian, Yormietay, Christopher, Habakkuk, Darius, Adolphus (Choco), Emmanuel, Ellington, James (Lovetta), David (Grace), Rodney( Sylvia); Sisters: Kou Pella, Cecelia, Ysyndi ( Sei), Bernice, Fanta, Oretha, Rachel, Catherine, Lisa, Comfort, Cynthia, Marie; Aunts: Ruth(Mother), Rebecca, Meme, Larsee ; Uncles: Diggs, Curtis; Mother in law: Annie G. Hamilton; Sisters in law: Florence, Gwen, Araba; Brother in law: Anthony and a host of other relatives and friends.
