Mr. Lawrence M. Doe, Sr.

The Doe, Dennis, Nartey, Weah and Wiles families regret to announce the peaceful home going of their husband, father, brother, uncle, Mr. Lawrence M. Doe, Sr. on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at the Firestone Medical Center (Du-Side hospital) in Harbel, Margibi County after a brief illness.

Mr. Doe was President and owner of Monrovia Fishing Corporation, Committed member of the Rotary Club of Monrovia, Board Chairman of the Invincible Eleven (IE), Member of the St. John Episcopal High School Alumni Association, former Director for Administration of National Investment Commission, former President of the Invincible Eleven (IE), former President of Junior Professionals, former Board member of the University of Liberia and Cellcom Communications. He also served as vestry member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Camp Johnson Road.

He leaves to mourn his loss his widow, Chantal Wiles Doe, Children; Lawrence M. Doe, Jr. Florence B. Doe, Laurentine M. Doe, Richard J. Doe, Fataba T. Swaray, Ransford R. Moore, Sr. (Brenda), Ezekiel Gbaye, Sylvia Williams Wolo, Sandra W. Williams, Tyrone Wotorson, Janet Moore, Twah Bondo, Catherine Haynes-Kromah (Jesse), Queta Doe, Joshua W. Doe and several other children, nieces, nephews and grandkids; Siblings, Gillian Moore, Mai Doe, Cordelia Doe Smith, Stephen J. Doe, Christina Doe-Nimpson (Phillip), Julius Dennis (Roseline), Victoria Doe-Herring (Samuel), Michael J. Doe, Jr. (Theresa), Theophilus Dennis, Helena Doe Brown (Roosevelt), Grace Nartey, Several Cousins including K. Jefferies Adorkor, Gabriel Doe, Tugbeh Doe, Nyekan Doe, Tapple Doe, Clara Doe-Mvogo, Calvin Doe, Preston Doe, George M. Weah, T-Max Jlateh, and host of other relatives and friends in Liberia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Germany, Canada and the U.S.A.
