Home Going of Rev. Elmer Vamplah Leroy Diggs

It is with profound regrets that the Diggs and Wilson families announce the passing of their husband, father, brother, grandfather, and cousin the Reverend Elmer Vamplah Leroy Diggs. This sad event occurred on June 12, 2016 at his residence in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Reverend Diggs was an avid lover of music and served as Minister of Music at Providence Baptist Church, Monrovia Liberia, and Minster of Music, Christian Education and Evangelism at Georgia Avenue Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eudora Wilson-Diggs, five children; George(Louvina), Josephine(Decemah), Lady-Mayatu(Mel) and Elma-Lorraine(Sokowuah), of the United States, and Madia of Liberia, his siblings, cousins and a host of relatives and friends in the United States and Liberia.

Rev. Diggs was predeceased by both of his parents, Mr. George Washington Diggs and Mrs. Williametta Diggs, his beloved wife of 26 years, Mrs. Muriel Harvey-Diggs, his daughter Marilyn, and grandson Edward.
