The Demby, Dukuly, and Dumbar families mourn the loss of Ciatta Fatu Jerusha Dukuly-Demby who went to be with Jehovah on November 28, 2016 in Camden, New Jersey, U.S.A. The late Ciatta was born on November 26, 1976 unto Richelieu Dukuly Sr. and the late Fanny K. Dumbar, in Yekepa, Nimba County, Liberia, West Africa.
Ciatta was predeceased by her sister Florence Y. Dukuly in 2006, and her mother Fanny Dunbar in 2014.
Our beloved Ciatta was a kind hearted, amorous, and caring person who left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. Her unmistakable laughter and glow touched many friends and relatives. She had the gentlest and most generous heart that she extended to all.
On her birthday two days before her passing, Ciatta posted this quote on her Facebook web page: "Jehovah has blessed me to see 40 years on earth and I'm grateful to him. I've been through so much but he told me to have faith and let go of fear, so I've decided to be happy. Thank you Jehovah, my everything",...African Queen.
Ciatta was a graduate of the Overbrook High School in Philadelphia. She was a CNA, giving delicate and loving care to the many she encountered.
Despite the departure of our beloved Ciatta, we are comforted by the words that Jesus spoke to his disciples in John 14: 1-4, "Do not let your heart be troubled; 'Exercise faith in God'; exercise faith also in me. In the house of my father are many dwelling places. Otherwise, I would have told you. For I am going my way to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you home to myself, so that where I am , you also may be".
The late Ciatta Dukuly leaves to mourn her loss, her husband Travis Demby, two children; Attaci James, Tariq Demby, her father Richelieu Dukuly Sr., step mother Deddeh Dukuly, her sisters; Angel Daniels Rodriguez affectionately known as TeeCee, Crotella Dukuly, and brothers; Richelieu Dukuly Jr., Jarnyene Seke, and Eugene Dukuly, her aunts, cousins, nieces, and a host of relatives in the United States and Liberia.
