our beloved mother, Theresa WollorNmahkan -
Davies, affectionately called "Muma",
Teta, Ma, Mumah, Ms. Teresa (as her Bishop Brooks
family called her), Ms. Davies (as her Grand
Gedeh family called her); wife of the Late Samuel
S. Davies, Debt Court Judge of Grand Gedeh County.
This
sad event occurred Saturday, January 29, 2011
at 4:00AM in Hyattsville, Maryland. She is survived
by her children: Victoria Davies-Moore, Ella
Davies-Junius (Albert), Annie Davies -Wright,
Eliza Mamiezoe Davies, Samuel Davies (Louise),
Benjamin (deceased), Charlotte, Theresa, Emmanuel
(Seihdi), Josephine, Bobby, Ophelia Doe, Amelia
(James), Abraham, Bill, Charles, Bonnie (Krakue),
Fred Cherue (Vivian), and Sarah Phillips; sisters:
Nevonne Brent, Josephine Shannon (Adolphus);
brothers: Hilary Dennis (Liz), Joseph Brent
(Carolina); 26 grandchildren, 8 great grand-children,
nieces, nephews, cousins; God-daughter, Mozetta
(Kus-kus) Mack; one sister-in-law, Suwlor Davies;
one brother-in-law, Alexander Davies; The Church
of the Epiphany family, relatives and friends
in Liberia and the United States.
Muma, as she was affectionately called, was
a loving, caring and God-fearing woman who shall
greatly be missed and will forever live in our
hearts.
