Chauncey,
it seems like yesterday you were here with us,
now you are gone to be with the Lord. We will
miss you dearly.
The
Dassin, Manobah, Fahnbulleh, and Freeman families
with profound regret announce the untimely death
of their son, brother, father, uncle, nephew
and cousin, Mr. M. Chauncey Dassin. This sad
event occurred on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the
Cooper Medical Center in Monrovia, Liberia.
Mr.
Musa Chauncey Dassin was born unto the union
of Mr. Joseph Dassin, Sr. and Mrs. Massah Manobah
at the Firestone Medical Center on September
28, 1955.
He
leaves to mourn his loss: Wife Precious Andrews,
his children Sylvester and Jennie, parents:
Mr. Joseph Dassin, Sr. (Liberia) and Massah
Manobah (Staten Island). Brothers: Tijani J.
Dassin, Jr. (Comfort), Rev. Franklin Dassin
(Beatrice), Edmund Dassin, Sr. (Philadelphia),
Randolph Dassin (Liberia), Abraham Dassin (Canada)
and Dao Freeman (Yvette).
Sisters:
Mabel Dassin (Staten Island) and Mariama Dassin
(Liberia).
Nieces:
Cianna Dassin (Staten Island), Vinda Tata Ferrarese
(Italy), Mejani Dassin and Melva Thompson (Atlanta),
Maima Dassin Carlon (South Carolina), Comfort
Makwana Dassin (Philadelphia), Natalie Dayee
(Coon Rapids) and nephew Abraham Dassin (Lisa)

Momo G. Dassin, Boima P. Dassin and Sadatu Dassin
