 PRINCE BOYE CLARENCE TETTEH DARPOH
It is with profound sadness that the Darpoh, Davies & Cuffey families of Liberia, Ghana and Sierra Leone announce programs marking the home going of our beloved father, son, brother, uncle and cousin, Prince Clarence Boye Tetteh Darpoh who passed 6th June 2020 in Edmonton, Canada. He was 55 and died from heart complications at the Covenant Health Hospital following a protracted illness. Prince was affectionately called by family and friends “uncle Boye, Darp, the Great Tomases, Blood, true Blood, Rhythm”, etc.
Prince will be buried on Saturday, 1st August 2020. Funeral services will be held at the North Pointe Community Church at 14025 167 Ave NW, Edmonton AB T6V IJ5. Wake keeping and a celebration of life service will be held on Friday, 31st July at the premises of the Solid Rock International Ministries of Edmonton, 13415c Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5A 1C6, from 9p to 11p.
Prince leaves to mourn his loss:
Seven children: Emmanuel Marsh of Monrovia Liberia; Princess Rufina Desiree Darpoh Pratt-Lewis and Fatu Darpoh of Minnesota, US; Tanya Ami Darpoh, Rufus Storm Darpoh, and Prince Peace Darpoh, Jr of Monrovia, Liberia; and Ethan Yawo Darpoh of Edmonton, Canada.
Two grandchildren: Sandra Jemila and Emanuel Jojo Victor Marsh of Monrovia.
Three siblings: Rufina Mailey Vee Darpoh of Maryland, US, Theophilius and Evelyn Mele Darpoh of Accra, Ghana.
Prince was divorced at the time of his passing.
He was pre-deceased by his father, journalist Rufus Marmah Darpoh, his mother, teacher Josephine Gmarsnoh Davies Darpoh who passed recently in May, and his brothers Cornelius Marteh Kojo and Emmanuel Sundaygar Darpoh. Prince is also deeply mourned by a host of other relatives and friends.
Prince CT Darpoh was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Darpoh One Network of Edmonton CA, an IT firm in Alberta, Canada.
And worked in different capacities as an IT Consultant/Specialist with the Canadian Federal Government. Prince was also Publisher and Managing Editor of the popular social media platform The African Palava Hut.
He was also very instrumental in the organization of the Association of Liberians in Alberta, Canada. In Liberia he previously worked with the Darpoh Driving School, the US Embassy, and the UNDP.
Generous donations and contributions are highly welcomed and appreciated as we plan to lay our beloved to rest. Thanks to all who have sympathized with our family in our time of bereavement.
