With thanks and praises to God, the Luke, Cooper, Daniels, Gould, Payne, Diggs, Kiazolue, Warner, Bonah, Slocum, Greene, Macaulay and Massaquoi families announce the peaceful passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin, Deacon Edwin Scott Daniels, Sr..
2nd Timothy 4:7 – I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Surrounded by his forever loving family, Deacon Daniels answered the call of his Maker on March 12, 2018 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Affectionately called Uncle Eddie, he was predeceased by his father, Henry Clay Daniels I, mother, Adeline Gould, sons; Edwin Scott Daniels, Jr., Henry Clay Daniels, II and Augustus Daniels, sister, Julia Daniels Warner and brother, William Henry Daniels.
Deacon Edwin Scott Daniels, Sr. is survived by his cherished wife, Esther Luke Cooper Daniels, children: John, Catherine, George, Samuel, Florence, Edwin III and Juwin; grandchildren: Mildred, Henry, Richard, Adline, Noran, Skirvin, Emmanuel, Jonathan, Henrietta, Helen, Sando and Samantha; great grandchildren: Charlene and Steve; siblings: Elder Eva B. Diggs, Rev. Anna Bonah, Adolphus Capehart (Williametta) and Iola Capehart; several nieces, nephews, and cousins in Liberia and the United States of America.
