Mrs. Antoinette Abla Bruce-Cummings

The Pinkett, Bruce and Cummings families announce with deep sorrow and profound regrets the home going of our Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Sister-In-Law, Aunt, Cousin, Godmother and friend, Antoinette Alba Bruce-Cummings. Known to many as “Nettie”, “Sister Nettie” or “Aunty Nettie”  who went home to be with the Lord.   This sad event occurred on the morning of September 2, 2014 at the SDA Cooper Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia. 

She leaves to mourn her demise while cherishing her memories, her Mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Yibade Pinkett-Bruce. Children: Wynee J. Cummings, Charles B. Cummings III, Charlene B. Cummings, Burgess C. Cummings, Chartoinette B. Cummings and Fatu Cummings and  thirteen (13) Grandchildren.  Mourning her also are  Siblings:  Mr. Nathaniel “Pardu” Ford Bruce Jr., Mrs. Maude Bruce Nimley, Mr. S. Raymond Bruce Sr. (Lwopu), Mrs. Grace Bruce Freeman (Eric), Mrs. Amelia A. Bruce-Nimley (Albert), Mr. Archelus “Jackie” A. Bruce (Klaneh), Mr. Othello M. Bruce and Mr. William Ford Bruce (Ora). Uncles, Aunts, cousins and In-Laws including Mr. William T. Bruce Sr. (Myrtle), Mrs. Ellen Bruce-Leak, Mrs. Gloria Bruce-Thomas (James),  Mr. Moses Bruce (Olarhoncia),  Ms. Ruth Yvonne Weh,  Mrs. Hattie Jones,      Ms. Jacqueline Banks, Mrs. Felicia Harris-Andrews, Mrs. Georgiana Conger-Thompson Bowen,  Ms. Ines Mai Straker, Mrs. Mona Gibson-Saylee, Mrs. Comfort Cummings-Natt, Mrs. Albertine Cummings-Dennis, Ms. Lady Cummings, Ms. Rachael Cummings,  Mr. Henry B. Wilson Mr. George P. Conger-Thompson, Mr. James F. Cooper, Mr. Joseph Cummings, Mr. Samuel Q. Cummings, Sr., Mr. Edward M. Cummings and a host of other relatives and friends in China, Sweden, Grenada, Ivory Coast, Liberia and the United States.

Mrs. Antoinette Abla Bruce-Cummings was predeceased by her Father, Mr. Nathaniel Ford Bruce Sr. Children - Charlesetta Mai Frances Cummings and Clyde B. Cummings; Sisters Mrs. Irene Bruce-Morris and Ms. Dekontee Bruce.
She will be missed by her beloved family and friends.  MAY LIGHT PERPETUAL SHINE UPON HER.
