Mrs. Monica Sorwood-Cooper

It is with great sadness and heaviness of heart that the Cooper and, Sorwood families announced the home going of our beloved wife, mother, sister, cousin and aunt, Mrs. Monica Sorwood-Cooper. This sad event occurred at the Lowell General Hospital in Lowell Massachusetts on November 6, 2013 after a protracted period of illness.

Tutu, as she was affectionately called leaves to mourn her loss while cherishing her memories, her husband Mr. Jesse Cooper, her children Amu Quendeh Quaye, and Dekontee Chuku Faikai, her granddaughter, Tonia Quaye, her sisters, Vera Mannah (Sando Mannah), Beatrice Simmonds, Joetta Laughton (Pierre Laughton), Tanneh Sorwood, Tupee Sorwood, Jugbeh Nimely (Wleh Nimely),  Brothers, her adopted sister Bliloh Glay and a host of other relatives including her aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, In-Laws and friends.

Wake keeping over the remains of Monica Sorwood-Cooper will be held on December 7, 2013 at 5pm :

Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Liberia on December 13, 2013
