The Cooper and Railey families announce, with great sadness, the loss of their beloved mother, sister, aunty, grand-mother, great-grand mother and cousin, Mrs. Maude Jamesetta Railey Cooper. She went to be with her Lord at the good and blessed age of 91 years. This sad event occurred in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Friday February 17, 2017 after a short period of illness. She lived in Minnesota for over twenty five years, was born, raised and lived in Sinoe County until the Liberian Civil War when she moved to the United States of America.
Mrs. Maude Jamesetta Railey Cooper is survived by her children Emmette Burnette, Kofie Mensah, Daubenny Cooper who predeceased her, Obsta Bunchi Cooper, Bernard Cooper, Leona Cooper Collins, Christopher Cooper, Bernice Teetee Cooper, and Kassa Cooper; one sister Clavender Railey Browne, two brothers Alexander Douglas and Caesar Railey, and a host of nieces, nephews, grand-children, great-grand children, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday and Friday, March 16th and 17th in Minnesota as shown below:
