It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the Addy, Cooper, Kennedy, Freeman, and Sherman, families announce the home going of Grace V. Addy-Cooper, affectionately called “Gracie”, our daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandmother, cousin, aunty, and friend. This sad event occurred on December 21, 2015 at the home of her sister Shirley Addy-Tah.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her  husband,  Zuulu Cooper , mother Emily Freeman, step mother Edith V. Addy, several  siblings, 5 children, Alvena Duncan-Bryant (Raymond Bryant), Edna Diggs (Lennox Diggs) Teekeh Cooper, Emile Cooper, Mackenzie Cooper, 2 Goddaughters, Jenneh Kollie, Jerusha Perry, 6 grand children, many  nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Rev. Judson B. Addy, Sr. Step father, Paul D. Kennedy, Grandmother Sarah Nae Freeman as well as her siblings, Fabio, Charles, Naomi, Aquea, and Elizabeth Addy.

Grace’s love for people, family, and friends will never be forgotten.  The battle is over; the race has been won; you have met your maker. We will miss you dearly.

Wake will be held on January 15, 2016 from 6:P.M. -10:00 P.M at the Grace Fellowship Church located at 3475 Paris Blvd. Westerville, Ohio 43081. Phone number: 614-890-0078.

Funeral Service will be held at the same venue on January 16, 2016 from 9:00 a.m.
